My Requiem

My requiem Dark as my days Never
to hold on again Last of my mistakes
Don’t want to do anything Doesn’t have
enough to say Hanging by a single string
Just want to end today

Never thought love important But quick
to shed a tear If only that letter was sent
Rejection I’d not fear
A song full of hope
But only in my dream I’ll keep climbing the rope
Forever, it may seem

If I could be free I’d spread my wings
and fly Wishing I could be
The best before I die
I’ll perish without regrets
So don’t cry, little bird
Because everyone forgets
So someone is assured
