Dream

I had a dream
that the world
that the universe
had stopped

I looked around
then let go
I fell into the sky
and become a bright star.

I looked down at the earth
I watched the moon raise
I watched you laugh
I watched you cry

I looked around
then let go
I fell down to earth
and became a burnin' comet

I looked up at the sky
I watched the sun raise
I watched you laugh
I watched you cry.

Forgetting your name

Hey, Dance a little longer
(Turn and spin me 'round)
Hey, Walk about a bit longer
(Turn and spin me 'round)

Out of my head
losing my mind
I've forgotten your name
I've forgotten your face

Hey, But thats ok
(Turn and spin me 'round)
Hey, Trample on the rose
(Turn and spin me 'round)

Out of my head
losing my mind
I've forgotten your name
I've forgotten your face

Hey, You've trampled my soul
(Turn and spin me 'round)
Hey, But i'll keep dancing,
(Turn and spin me 'round)

Live again

Below the ocean,
inside my heart,
the dreg settles
slowly, it fills my heart
until I can't draw a breath
I drown in the worst parts of me
'cause I refuse to see
the life I could have
I just need to look up
At the sun shining through
the clear ocean waters
Push off the bottom
and live in Life
and let the waters purify me
and love again
laugh again
breathe again
live again.

Fake

Look at the Paint you bare
See the pretty ribbons in your hair
Dance to their tune
Laugh in the June
See the butterflies
Maybe someday you'll fly

I look at you, so fake
I laugh at you, so fake
Your so fair-weather, so fake
You'll never survive the storm
because your so fake

I gasp in fear
I realize I've looked in the mirror
I'm so fake, so fake
I'll never survive the storm
Because I'm so fake

I look at myself, so fake
I laugh at myself, so fake
I'm so fair-weather, so fake

I'll never survive the storm
Because I'm so fake.

Lovefall

Drifting in that sea of dream and mist,
She wondered at what she kept from herself
Holding her breath, but no longer needing to
Longing for something more, something solid,
That she could stand on,
That she would trust in,
And she fell away, leaving her soul
In that cold wet nothing
Until she might find what her heart wished.
Falling down, not worrying about the bottom that rushed
to great her
Falling down, not knowing about the pain so close
to the surface
Falling down, Falling in love
